A Vampire Morning

Meri staggered to her feet and shielded her suddenly tender skin from the glare of the morning sun. Mondays were never her favourite day and when they followed such a fun night, they were all the worse for it. But quite honestly, this Monday seemed more painful than normal. She pushed her sunglasses more firmly up her nose and moved into the shadows. The urge to spend the day somewhere dark and cold was slowly taking hold. Meri hoped maybe a shower would help, but as she made her way to the bathroom, she noticed the mirror – empty of her reflection. She ran her tongue over her teeth; were they pointier than normal? She shrugged, definitely a day to pull a sickie.

About:

Okay you super people, do I have some great stuff for you today! First off, we’ll begin with the Shiny Shabby event which opens today in Secondlife at 12pm slt (8pm UK time). !Aphorism! are offering these to-effing-die-for Glastonbury boots which come in 5 different designs and enough sizes to appease those with skinny legs and those like me with chunky little horses legs. While you’re there, go grab Toro’s Russian Woodwork Inspired Mirror. They’re so lovely and detailed and, as Meri found out this morning, no mirrors work in Secondlife, but don’t panic! Just enjoy them for the beauty they will bring to your home and the fact they’ll never point out your bad hair days.

Blueberry have released a Tila Studded Denim Skirt for the N21 event which opens tomorrow in Secondlife. You’ll be seeing more of this skirt from me, as apparently, Addams have brought out a jacket to match for the event and Reign have brought out some boots! A triage of tremendousness, I’m sure you’ll agree. All Blueberry items come with standard mesh sizes and versions for Slink, Belleza and Maitreya mesh bodies. At the N21 event only, you can pick up a custom made belt for the skirt absolutely free, and anyone who buys the skirt after that won’t get the beltie!

[Fetch] are offering their lovely wall clock for Lazy Sunday. Sadly, as I almost never blog on a Sunday (too busy being lazy) I don’t get to tell you about it until Monday. Luckily, those guys at [Fetch] aren’t mean and it’s still out. So go get yourself a lovely (working) clock that you can set to your own time zone. Only 75l$.

Other news… Well, I haven’t taken off the RealEvil Revox MGX watch since I blogged it yesterday, however it’s not a clear shot of it in this image. You should go see it properly really, click here.

And finally… a few vendor images so you can see some of the gorgeousness in full-technicolour.
