Indie Teepee opens tomorrow – you all probably have it in your diaries already! I was excited to get in a day early and have a look around at the sim and something unexpected happened. I felt like I was at an actual festival, like… I wanted to be there, hang there, chill out there.

Normally with SL events, however beautifully decorated they are, I’m happy to go and equally happy to leave with the goodies I’ve purchased. You can expect this one to be a bit different. For a start, there’s a ton to do and see. It’s not just a decorated shopping area, it has 3 stages of music, areas of art and machinima and it feels just great.

Here’s some useful info for you, ‘cus you’re going to want to go prepared.

You get a HUD upon landing which teleports you to wherever you want in the sim, although walking is an enjoyable option, it should prove useful for anyone who experiences a lot of lag.

You can find out in advance when DJs or live performers are on by checking out this page of the Indie Teepee website.

You can expect not just a load of stalls, but some specially-designed scenes by sponsor designers with exclusive original mesh items for the event, see more here, and a list of other participating stores here.

I think that should be enough to give you a headstart on the first day! Don’t forget to be there, Stage 3 at 10am for the first DJ from AAi – Chris, kicking it all off. I’ll see you there ❤

    1. A HUD makes things so clear and easy to explore and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don’t know if I’ll still be able to do it today, but it helped me get the hang of the layout so I could run around like a crazy person too 🙂 Hugs Ever x
