Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | It’s the Weekend!

du jour

Yeah baby! It’s Saturday morning and, like most sane-minded folks, I was looking forward to a nice sleep and a bit of a lie-in. Sadly, I got neither. I didn’t get off to sleep til about 5 and then was woken by my horribly noisy neighbours playing the piano (badly) just after 8am. I tried to ignore it but the thin walls between our houses were reverberating.

Never mind! I dragged myself out of bed, had a shower and a few cups of tea and went out to the shops for a nice bakery loaf and some Eccles cakes for later. It is a beautiful day after all. (Still hate my neighbours though).

What to wear in Second Life today?

=Zenith= Dream Catcher Necklace (Zenith Mainstore)
Bella’s Lullaby – Mini Mouse Handbag – Prev Gift (Bella’s Lullaby Mainstore)
Moon. Hair Ethereal (Moon Mainstore)
Pure Poison Locker Heart Flats (Pure Poison Mainstore)
.Atomic. Slouchy Knee Socks Mustard (Atomic Mainstore)
Du Jour Lily Summer Dress [Mait/Venus/Slink/5fs] (The ‘Stuff Sales Room)

I made this outfit today based around the Lily Summer Dress by Du Jour. It comes with fitted mesh versions for Maitreya Lara, Belleza Venus and Slink Physique, as well as five fitted mesh sizes! Occasionally, I find that the Maitreya fitted mesh versions of items don’t fit my Lara body around my back as well as they should and that in those case, the Slink version does. So in the pic above, I’m wearing the Slink fitted mesh version with the Lara body which was perfect on the top half, and I used alpha on my hips and upper outer thighs for a perfect line. I suspect folks with lower body fat on their basic shape might be fine with the Maitreya Lara version on the Maitreya Lara Body! The dresses are available right now at The ‘Stuff Sales Room, so go grab it while you can.
