Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | Join the Tartan Army

blueberry done 1

When I was a little girl, I had a red tartan kilt. I’d wear it with white tights, shiny black t-bar shoes and a home-knitted sweater and feel just like the bees knees. I was a very particular child about how I was dressed, although my attempts to accessorise were universally disastrous (a Paddington bear brooch that contained creme perfume, a money purse belt or face glitter were most common faux-pas). As far as I am concerned, though, it’s a look I’d call evergreen – meaning it never really goes out of fashion!

Blueberry’s new release – Roro – is a 2-in-1 top which can be worn as a crop top (shown) and also with a fitted undertop which reaches down to your hips and you can choose to have colour contrast on the two tops – nifty! I’ve done a close up so you can see the texture in some detail.

AviCandy’s Peek-a-boo knit tights are not perhaps shown to their best advantage here. They are pretty much what they sound like… crotchless knit tights. I confess, I have had some of these in my time but they didn’t start out crotchless. I seem to have a talent for tugging them up from the waistband, because I’m tall and they slip, which then causes a great rip in the foo area. However, these are not such an accident, they are meant to be that way and I have simply avoided showing you the naked bits. It will warm the cockles of your heart to know that while photographing this outfit I took the opportunity to nip and repair a dance machine in AAi and – while flying around the ceiling in some dance I’m sure I never bought – managed to show my bits to Chris, one of the DJs. He’s still traumatised.

I’d not come across DE Designs until I bought this skirt (actually, I bought the leather pack by mistake first, and then the tartan pack) but I have to say it is a great fit on my Maitreya Lara.

Here’s well lit, no shit for you!
