Christmas is coming, ready or not. I’m sure a lot of folks are feeling the same way about it as I am. My route to Christmas seems littered with ‘Things To Do’, working backwards from Christmas Day and providing the most perfect day you can for your family. I don’t even have children, so heavens-to-betsy, I can’t imagine how much more challenging it is for parents. Or maybe the knowledge that you will get to see your little angel enjoying Christmas is sufficient motivation to get things done on time.
I’ve not even sent Christmas cards yet. I was thinking about the perfect Christmas and how much of that idea I get from TV shows, films and adverts. A lot, really. I think that often, Christmas approaching simply makes people (especially women I reckon) feel inadequate. I want my house to be perfect in case friends come wassailing (pff, fat chance). I want my decorations up in the hopes it’ll make me feel more festive, I want the presents wrapped so I know it’s done and I’ve got what I need to have (and so I don’t eat any of the presents) and I want each and every item I cook to be charmingly rustic and home-made.
No pressure then!
I wish you luck with your festivus and send my sympathies if it’s all getting on top of you this year. At least you know you’re not alone in being imperfect.

When I first ‘found’ Addams some time ago now, I was struck immediately by how different it was from most SL fashion stores in terms of design. A lot of their clothes were almost masculine, but cut for the female form. Each piece was so beautifully textured, it stood out as an individual item and one that you were unlikely to see elsewhere. Of course, that was in the days before bodymesh fitting, and now Addams clothes fit me even better. I’m happy to say that despite diversifying and providing a wider range of clothes and some quite sexy items, they still have the edge on what I think of as modern street-wear, this jacket being a prime example. The new release from the Addams Mainstore – Revival Military Jacket – is simply awesome. I have no new words. Go get one.
Frost is great big and fabby – today, I’m showing you a pose from Verocity and a necklace from LOULOU&CO, named Dew. Now, that place has been open a long, long time. I remember having a LOULOU&CO necklace in 2008, I think. I might even still have it!
