Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | Prongs

At this time of year, I start to think about the year I’ve had – I’m sure you do too. The things that have been good and the ones that haven’t been so great. I’m a firm believer in the old adage ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ and a somewhat less firm believer, but a believer nonetheless in the equally old saying ‘Every cloud has a silver lining’. There’s not always much of a positive to come out of bad times I know, but the fact you’re still here and surviving is something to be thankful for.

I’m thankful this year for those people who I love and who love me back. They lift my heart every day. I’m glad that I took the plunge and took my Mum to Ireland – a trip that meant so much to both of us. I’m thankful for my friends, in SL and out. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, wherever you are in the world, whether you celebrate those festivals or not. It’s just ultimately a wish for happiness and peace.

What to buy in Second Life today?

Headdress | Dirtystories Night Fairy Silver (Prev. Winter Trend, try Dirtystories Mainstore)
Implant | :Z.S: Snowflake Implant (Prev. Winter Trend, try Z.S. Mainstore)
Outfit | MOoH! Cardigan and Sleeveless Dress (Frost)
Boots | T&S Demonia Boots (Frost)
Hair | Tableau Vivant Cristal (Collabor88)
Decor | Kenvie Reindeer Gold Red Horns (Frost)

Tons of goodness from Frost this post. The MOoH! Cardigan and Sleeveless Dress is very cute and the fitmesh size fitted my Maitreya Lara very well indeed. The T&S Demonia boots are dead cute and come with a texture change HUD – I chose little kitty heads. The Kenvie Reindeer Heads are super modern Christmas decor (or I guess you could use them out of season for an ironic nod to the hunting trophy look).

I have also shown you two items that were previously at Winter Trend which finished last week. The trouble is that there was so much great stuff to show you I just took as many pics as I could and so we’re carrying on blogging about it a little past the end of the event. The creators will no doubt put the items in their mainstores tho.

Finally, well lit, no shit – sadly, I’d managed to close my eyes when the flash went off – doh.
