Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | Let Me Grab Your Soul Away

grab your soul away

I spent a good bit of my childhood in the Yorkshire Moors and around the coast. Wuthering Heights is a book that encapsulates the wild and sometimes bleak nature of the moors and those two ill-fated children who meet and love and lose each other on that landscape. I was excited when I heard that there was a sim at the Rayne store which was modelled on and named for the area. When I visited I found a beautiful sim, of that there is no doubt, but for me, it is the hills and barren rocks of the Yorkshire Moor which make it such a perfect setting for the lovers whose relationship never came to fruition, like the crops which would die if they were so planted there. Sadly, the sim is a bit flat… but still very much worth a visit.

Re-visiting Cathy for my Wuthering Heights inspired pic in a sombre yet modern way led me to wear Cynful’s Sheila dress in dark grey. It’s so dark grey it’s almost black – you could certainly get away with wearing it as black, as I have done. You can get a great deal on this cute dress which comes with a HUD to change the neckline stud metallic textures at TDR this round. Other colours of Sheila dress available at TDR are Khaki, Petroil, Pink, Seagreen and Yellow.

AviCandy’s tights for Flower Power are awesome. There are colourful styles and elegant styles and these, which are flowered at the front and plain black at the back. You should definitely pop over and pick yourself up a bunch, as they’ll be worn til the feet fall out of them 😀

Here’s a well lit, no shit picture so you can click and see everything close up
