Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | Trust Yourself

Be Brave, Be Great

A lot is made of trust, in relationships, friendships, the workplace, with your family, but mostly – really – you have to trust yourself. Life seems to contain a series of really important decisions which we make almost purely on instinct and doubting your own sense of what’s right and what’s wrong leads only to unhappiness. Learning to trust yourself as you amble blindfolded through your own life is one of the best things about maturing I’ve found. All those years of self-doubt, all the times I guilt-tripped myself over something I’d said or done and finally, now,  I can look at myself in the mirror and see a friend I trust to try to do the best for me. Trust yourself guys, ‘cus nobody else is steering the ship.

Hair | [KoKoLoReS] Jules (Cosmetic Fair, 15-31 Mar)

KoKoLoReS Jules is one of two new hairs at the Cosmetic Fair, it is unrigged and resizable, and comes in colour huds 01, 04, dichromic and -a new HUD, rose quartz and serenity.

Blueberry’s Alissa dress comes with a removable belt and removable panties, and you can choose the colour of each, plus buttons etc. from the provided HUD. Additionally, if you buy the fatpack, you not only get the graphic shown in all colours, and the patterns/stripes and the solid colours, but a special exclusive to the fat pack selection with the caption ‘I want it RIGHT MEOW’ So cute. It’s an extraordinarily good fit, and this is what makes Blueberry my favourite source of fashion fitted for the mesh bodies.

RealEvil’s Lace Mask and Coraline Gloves are both available at the Tres Chic Event. I loved how (even though I’ve referred to blindfolds above) it isn’t a blindfold at all. When you cam in, there are tiny holes behind the lace so you can see through it to walk around. The gloves aren’t simply gloves either, there are rings attached too. I love the detail and the adaptability of these items, and everything *RE* do.

Here’s a well lit, no shit picture which lets you see everything in more detail – click to see me huge and unedited. Plus, below that is the very wonderful dancing video, so you can see how it works while moving 🙂

  1. I believe that one person that doesnt’ love him/herself is not capable to love others. It’s not the same but made me think that. I hope there aren’t crocs in the river, Indiana Jones’ style. ^_^

    1. If there are crocs, I will hug them and squeeze them until they smile so wide I can see all their teeth. I’m pretty sure they’re smiling anyway :/

Interesting point you raise about loving yourself. I honestly don’t know if you’re right or not but I kind of hope not – I think a lot of people don’t have a lot of love for themselves because they don’t feel they are worth loving. Maybe you are right and they have to work on that before they can be happy loving somebody else?

      1. In that case I want to be a croc waiting for you. ^_^
I think we agree and we both are right: to feel to don’t worth to be loved is equivalent to don’t love ourselves, as we can’t admit that we have something nice or beautiful in ourselves and so we don’t trust the love of others in a person in the mirror we see as a monster.
I tried to help some friends like that but it was really hard and in the end their mind was contaminating the mine. Also is truth that there is a kind of fashion in newer generations towards pain and suffering.
Anyway, I am happy for you, you are such a nice person, and that mirrors in two worlds. ^_^

  2. One of the hardest things for me to reconcile with myself is that I ignored early warnings and my negative gut feelings about someone. Lesson most definitely learnt…albeit the hard way. I will always trust myself and my instincts first now. ❤
