Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | Meet me in the corn

It’s Bank Holiday Easter Monday here in the UK, and so it’s a most rare Monday off from doing work for me – yay! Last night I did a set at AAi, I wanted to do what I call ‘Pre-Indie’ which is the music I liked before I knew what indie was – doesn’t mean none of it was indie, but a lot of it was gothy, post-punk, new-wave etc. and it was a cohesive and reasonably sensible set…

… until some folks arrived and began requesting things. Not sensible things – no – but really insensible things. It went so far downhill towards the end that I couldn’t even finish as I’d intended as Morrissey refused to go on. We finished to the sounds of REO Speedwagon and some vomiting.

However, today, I’m entirely sensible once more, there will be no more of that kind of shenanigans at AAi. It’s an indie club for indie people, there’s nothing for you here (see League of Gentlemen for reference).

What to wear in Second Life today?

Visit | Aught
Pose | grafica Flare iv (The Pose Lover Event)
Bag | Moon. Suede Fringe Bag (Moon. Mainstore)
Hair | Moon. Square One (Moon. Mainstore)
Boots | JD Navajo Sand (JD Mainstore)
Necklace | JianJam Alysene Necklace (Jian Mainstore : Jian Marketplace)
Necklace 2 | Mandala Kamayara Dogtag Necklace Gold (Mandala Mainstore)
Top | {Reverie} Florence Shirt Grey [Mait/2Bell/2Sli] (Uber)
Skirt | {Reverie} Florence Skirt Brown [Mait/2Bell/2Sli] (Uber)

{Reverie}’s new releases for Uber – the Florence skirt and top – are so adorable. The knotted shirt comes in various fitted mesh sizes for Maitreya, Belleza and Slink as indicated above and the skirt too, as well as in a selection of natural colours. I had to adjust my boobs by downsizing them and moving them out in order for the lovely button neckline to show on the shirt on the Maitreya Lara, but I’m pleased with the result!

Grafica’s got some fab pose packs at The Pose Lover Event right now, Flare are realisitic, casual poses (what I think of as moderate action poses, rather than ‘modelling’ poses) and I love them. Each pack comes complete with mirror poses.

Here’s a well lit, no shit picture for you…

And finally, a groovy dance video so you can see everything in action!
