I’ve just been through one of my purges. I don’t mean that like the film – there are no dead bodies to be cleaned up – simply that I got frustrated with trying to keep a ton of stuff in quite a small house. Better than 15 big black bags have wound their way to charity shops so far, and there will be more if I can find one who will accept books.
This has coincided with me getting the house to myself too. Although I don’t really enjoy actually doing house work, I do like it very much when it’s nice and neat. Every time I finish one job though, I find another ten to do.
Want a top tip? Every morning when I get up and ready for the day, I throw open my bedding, open the window and spray a home made essential lavender fabric spray over my bedding and curtains.
When I get into my cosy bed at night, therefore, there is a gentle smell of lavender to welcome me and help soothe me to sleep. This blog talks about making your own, it’s good!

The Epiphany is back and brings with it some really amazing collections from some of my favourite designers. Today I’m showing you what **RealEvil** have to offer this round, which lasts until the 15th of August.
The Surya set comprises a tank dress and bikini, jewellery and tattoos. If you’ve been to Epiphany before, you will know how it works… you play gachas for the items, some of which are rare, most common, and try to collect the items you want. To aid you in this, you can swap pieces with others, or you can, instead of unpacking items to your inventory, rez them and redeem them for points which can be spent on exclusive items. Nifty.
A friend said I looked like I’d come straight out of Ibiza, and when I looked like maybe that wasn’t a compliment, she added – the arty part in the North though. So there you go 🙂
Wherever you’re going on your hols, RealEvil have produced some truly fabulous items and I recommend them to you.
Here’s not one but two well lit no shit photos (I wanted to show you the bikini without the dress) and various close-ups. Click to see them huge.
And finally, jigging in the rigging to see what falls out –
