Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | Superhero

Are you a superhero? I am.

Well, I’m a superhero to my Mum at the moment (who’s getting a lot of mentions on my blog lately). She called to say her oven had stopped working – it’s only 2 years old and I found it a little odd. We worked our way through various possibilities – the hob and top oven still worked and then I had an idea – with a little help from Google, I figured that she’d probably been messing with the timer function and that’s why it didn’t work. Hey Presto! Her oven began working again. She was very happy. I felt 10 feet tall.

It’s great to help someone. I think it was that wise man (wise guy?) from Friends – Joey – who said ‘There is no such thing as a selfless good deed’ and he’s right. You can’t help but feel good if you have made someone happy and I don’t see anything wrong with that. Stand tall my superhero brothers and sisters. We are fighting the good fight with all of our might and we can stand to feel good about it.

What to wear in Second Life today?

Visit | Mean Streets RP Sim (Adult)
Pose | Apple Spice – Fierce (Apple Spice Mainstore)
Shoes | [L.Warwick] Fusion Ankle Strapped Platforms Pink, now Livalle (Livalle Mainstore)
Hair | Tram F603 (Tram Mainstore)
Outfit | Vinyl Fergie Top & Skirt [Mait/2Sli/3Bell] (Fameshed, 1-27 Aug)

If you’ve not been to Fameshed yet, you should give it a go. Although to me it seemed smaller and more basic looking than it has in previous rounds, perhaps this is not a bad thing when considering lag… anyway, I digress. What I wanted to say is that you simply have to try a demo for Vinyl’s Fergie Top and Skirt. I reckon then you will have to own it. The shininess – ooooohhhh the shininess. And it fits real good too 🙂

The shoes are well old – old enough for Ms Warwick to change her store name to Livalle. I’m not sure therefore if you can still get Fusion, but you may be able to and if not, I’m sure you can pick up something lush in a colour to suit you.

Here’s some more shots (unedited) and a ‘well lit, no shit’ shot. Click to see them larger.

Finally, here’s my ‘jigging in the rigging’ video. Let’s see how this outfit stands up to some movement!

  1. Oh, that was a good sort out, Meri! We quite often get power cuts in our little village and it’s always the timer on the oven that needs altering after that otherwise the darn thing won’t cook. Super heroes – yes I like that 🙂 Time for a super hero blog post heheh! Mmm, and that top stayed on, too!

    1. Haha Moz, you’d have known straight away! She had been messing with it after a power cut, trying to set her clock. I shoulda called the expert 😀 And as for your superhero post, I think you should and I think you should shake it all about, see what falls out haha.

What do you think?
