Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | Apple Bobber

applebobber

I keep busy inworld and that’s how I like it. If I’m not dressing for a blog, I’m finding locations I like to take pictures in, or actually taking pictures. If I’m not doing that, I’m doing admin for AAi, the club that Thom and I own, or at the club listening to the DJs – and it’s all great fun.

This week, however, is a little different. As it’s Thanksgiving this week in the US, we have no DJ tonight (Happy Thanksgiving American dudes!) and nor one on Thursday or Friday. The prospect of so much free time is almost overwhelming. Tonight we plan on watching the latest Walking Dead episode and chilling out and who knows what tomorrow will bring.

I’d suggest apple bobbing but Thom has a veritable array of teeth in his manly jaw, so I’m sure he would win every time. It’s not that he has more teeth per se… they’re just much more efficient.

About:

Some great events have just opened in SL, with wonderful designs to be purchased at each. Here’s today’s rundown (cue the old TOTP theme).

At Whimsical, Vinyl have two new releases – the Daya Cropped Sweater and the Nara Shaper. I’d call the shaper hotpants, as they are cut that way at the back, but are high waist. They contrast nicely with the sweater which comes with plain or textured choices in each pack.

RealEvil have a lovely leather bracelet set as a new release for Men Only Monthly, although each pack comes with male and female versions for each wrist, plus a HUD allowing you a dizzying choice of colours for two of the leather straps (upper and lower) and the metal parts too.

Here’s a couple more pics, including a ‘well lit, no shit’ shot. Click to see them larger.

Finally, here is my ‘jigging for the rigging’ today. I can’t imagine much is going to get out of this shaper while moving, or ever! But let’s preserve the ‘what if’ for a minute or two longer to enjoy the music.
